Life is not about finding yourself, its more about creating yourself-- really?

Is finding life purpose necessary to living an inspiring life?

Some where I had read "Life is not about finding yourself, its more about creating yourself"

I mean this sounds really nice but may not be true every time. You can not always create your life. Its like following your dream. But many a times your core competency and core ability will be different than what you want yourself to be. You see many examples around where people wanted to be something and end up becoming something else. So if your really look into your own soul and try to gauge what exactly you want to do or what you are best capable of doing or what is your hidden talent, then you can say that Life is about finding yourself. When your inner competencies and your dreams are match, then you truly achieve your Life's Goal.

So I would say "Life is about finding yourself and then creating yourself" :) :)

STAR FORTS

While surfing on internet yesterday found this Interesting architectural Evolution

Quite different than forts that we are used to see...

Star forts evolved during the age of black powder and cannons in the 16th century. The traditional medieval circle forts proved to be vulnerable to cannon fire. Star fortifications were first introduced in Italy in the mid 15th century. The wall were made of brick because the bricks don't shatter like stone when struck by a cannon ball.

The forts are designed in such a way that there is no Dead Zone (areas where you can not hit the enemy from inside the fort) as well as the star forts made enemy to follow a particular route where which they will be become easy targets for guns in the fort.

The latter evolution turned Star Forts into a very complex system of architecture for Defense.

These forts still stand today, many are empty or ruins some have villages in them.
